Application Terms and Conditions

By accepting the Terms and Conditions for using our online application system you declare that all information provided by you is correct. The falsification of any information provided by you, or the provision of incorrect information may result in the imposition of a financial penalty and/or expulsion from the Open Training College (OTC). Payment by you to the OTC does not constitute a binding contract. The OTC reserves the right to subsequently amend or adjust any fee charged to the student by the online facility at the OTC’s own discretion. A student may be denied permission to progress in his/her programme of study if all fees have not been paid in full. The OTC may at any time at its sole discretion modify the terms of access to this facility. Your continued use of the facility following any such modification shall be deemed acceptance of such modification.

Disputes arising from the use of this facility and the interpretation of the OTC’s Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Disputes may be brought before the Irish courts. The OTC reserves the right to institute proceedings in the country of your residence.

Application Fees Refund Policy

The OTC accepts no obligation to refund any fee (or part fee) paid by an applicant to the OTC or to a Student who withdraws from the course. A full refund will only be given to all applicants for courses which do not proceed

The College has protection of enrolled learner (PEL) arrangements in place for all relevant QQI validated courses in accordance with the Qualifications and Quality Assurance (Education and Training) Act 2012. If you disagree with any of the terms and conditions and/or with any other of the applicable provisions of the OTC Regulations you are not permitted to use this facility.

By accepting the Terms and Conditions for using our online application system, you confirm that OTC can share your contact details with QQI, other relevant government agencies and other relevant colleges in the case of Protection of Enrolled Learners (PEL) arrangements being invoked. Your contact details may also be shared with the insurance company which insures you for PEL, so that a policy can be taken out in your name and the policy documents forwarded to you.

This information will normally only be used by the OTC to contact you in relation to education and training opportunities and for registering for certification with accrediting bodies. This information will not be shared with any other third party, except in the exceptional cases outlined above.
