New Assistant College Director

The Open Training College is delighted to announce the new Assistant College Director.

Raymond Watson is taking over the role from Aine Melinn who retired in May 2019.

Raymond has been with the College since 2002 and in his 18 years has been involved in most of the College’s programmes.

He was Course Director of Social Care for 10 years and has acted as the Course Director of the Management programmes.

Most recently, Raymond has been the Head of Online Learning. This includes the development and implementation of the College’s international award winning blended learning model.

Raymond said ‘Aine has left a great foundation for the role.  I hope to continue to work at developing the programmes and other functions of the Open Training College. You are only as good as your team and luckily for me the team at the Open Training College are all people who work hard to develop programmes to enhance the lives of service users and provide accessible, flexible learning opportunities across many areas’.

The Open Training College would like to wish Raymond best of of luck in his new role.
