BA in Social Care: Interviews for the first tranche of applications:

Friday, May 16th, 2025:

We will open again on March 6th, 2025 for applications for the first 75 places on the BA in Social Care. This date is an opportunity for applicants to discuss and finalise their choice of course with the OTC team. Informal Interviews will take place in person, in Dublin from 10am - 4pm for the first tranche of applications. It includes an information session and informal interviews for applicants of the BA in Social Care. (Find out more about Applicants Day in the section below.)

Places on the course are limited to approximately 75 places.

About Applicants Day

On the day, there will be a presentation about the College, and you will have the opportunity to meet tutors and administrative staff.

As part of the Applicant Day activities you will be required to:

experience a 50-60 minute presentation relating to the College and the BA in Social Care course starting at 10am;
attend a short presentation regarding administration and fees information, and view specific details concerning the MyOTC Online Induction Module at 11.15am;
undergo a short written language test (45 minutes);
attend interview with tutor (15-20 minutes).

Social Care courses

The OTC Online Application Centre will open on March 6th, 2025 for applications for the following QQI validated programmes to commence in Autumn 2025.

These programmes are validated by QQI, are student-centred, practical and will enhance the career prospects of participants who are currently, or aspiring to be, employed in the Irish health sector.
