CPD Short Courses – Spring Schedule 2021

The OTC has launched the Winter/Spring 2021 schedule of short CPD courses. The College has delivered level 5-7 major awards for many years, as well as a wide range of special purpose and minor awards in the areas of social care, management, further education and CPD.

The courses are delivered through the innovative blended learning model making them ideal for busy professionals and people interested in exploring these areas in a way that is flexible and accessible. (See more on our Supported Open Learning Model here).

Key Management Skills

Commencing online April 26th, 2021:  This 6-week, Level 6 course will increase your ability to lead, motivate and manage a team in the human services and non-profit sector.

Cert in Supported Employment

April 26th, 2021:  Successful completion of this 12-week course will provide you with the tools required to facilitate job seekers into work experience/job sampling and/or supported employment opportunities.

The Manager as Coach & Mentor

Commencing May 10th, 2021. This six-week course has been developed for the experienced manager who currently holds a senior post within the organisation or aspires to hold such a post in the future.

Cert in Training and Development

Commencing May, 2021. A twelve week course that provides participants with the tools to identify training needs and design skills to deliver quality training.

Commencing online on June 14th, 2021. This level 6 award will increase your ability to deliver best practice in service quality and safeguarding.

Commencing Autumn 2021: This accredited Level 6 course examines how a person centred plan is implemented, facilitated and evaluated.
