CPD Short Courses – Spring Schedule 2022

The OTC has launched the Spring 2022 schedule of short CPD courses. The College has delivered level 5-7 major awards for many years, as well as a wide range of special purpose and minor awards in the areas of social care, management, further education and CPD.

The courses are delivered through the innovative blended learning model making them ideal for busy professionals and people interested in exploring these areas in a way that is flexible and accessible. (See more on our Supported Open Learning Model here).

Cert in Supported Employment

Commencing February 18th, 2022: This 12-week, Level 7 course is a professional qualification targeted specifically at the needs of people working as job coaches and employment facilitators.

March 7th, 2022: This six-week course is designed to provide you with a working knowledge of the importance, role and function of Human Resource Management, particularly in relation to the not-for-profit and human services sector.

Cert in Managing Service Quality

Commencing online on February 28th: One of our 2 management 'Fast Track' modules, this level 6 award will increase your ability to deliver best practice in service quality and safeguarding.

Commencing Spring, 2022. A twelve week course that provides participants with the tools to identify training needs and design skills to deliver quality training.

Spring 2022: This course is for the experienced manager interested in further developing their existing professional competencies in order to progress the work of the organisation within the human services sector and within wider society.

Empowerment and Advocacy

Commencing Spring, 2022: This accredited Level 6 course equips the student with the knowledge, skills and competencies to support people with disabilities in empowering themselves on a day-to-day basis, thus facilitating self-defined visions of a desirable future
