CPD Short Courses – Winter Schedule 2019-20

The OTC has launched their Autumn schedule for their short courses. The OTC has delivered level 5-7 major awards for many years. But the OTC has a wide range of special purpose and minor awards in the areas of social care, management, further education and CPD. See the course list here.

These courses cover topics like LAMH communication, supported employment, individualised services, key management skills for PICS and other managers and person centre planning.

The courses are delivered through the innovative blended learning model making them ideal for busy professionals and people interested in exploring these areas in a way that is flexible and accessible. (See more on our Supported Open Learning Model here).

Key Management Skills

Commencing on Nov. 4th, 2019. This level 6 minor award will increase your ability to lead, motivate and manage a team. Read more here.

Cert in Training and Development

Commencing Feb 2020. A twelve week course that provides participants with the tools to identify training needs and design skills to deliver quality training. Read more here.

Cert in Supported Employment

Commencing Spring 2020. A Level 7 Special Purpose award. the course is targeted at those involved in supported people to access mainstream work through job coaching and employment facilitation. Read more here.
