CPD Short Courses – Autumn Schedule 2021

The OTC has launched the Autumn 2021 schedule of short CPD courses. The College has delivered level 5-7 major awards for many years, as well as a wide range of special purpose and minor awards in the areas of social care, management, further education and CPD.

The courses are delivered through the innovative blended learning model making them ideal for busy professionals and people interested in exploring these areas in a way that is flexible and accessible. (See more on our Supported Open Learning Model here).

Key Management Skills

Commencing online September 13th, 2021: This 6-week, Level 6 course will increase your ability to lead, motivate and manage a team in the human services and non-profit sector.

Commencing September 15th, 2021. A twelve week course that provides participants with the tools to identify training needs and design skills to deliver quality training.

September 21st, 2021: This six-week course is designed to provide you with a working knowledge of the importance, role and function of Human Resource Management, particularly in relation to the not-for-profit and human services sector.

Commencing online on November 1st, 2021: One of our 2 management 'Fast Track' modules, this level 6 award will increase your ability to deliver best practice in service quality and safeguarding.

Autism, Wellbeing and Positive Behaviour Supports

Autumn, 2021: The Certificate in Autism, Wellbeing and Positive Behaviour Supports is an accredited programme that focuses on how to effectively support staff who work with individuals on the autism spectrum
